Driving, omg.
Today I took my first driving lesson.
My teacher pulled up to the curb, got out, and was like, "Get into the driver's seat."
And that was it.
And then I drove. At like 10mph down Commonwealth Avenue, which is arguably one of the busiest streets in Boston. But I'm from HK, so I don't think it's anything special. XD Afterwards I told my flatmates about it and they were all, OMG WEREN'T YOU SCARED?
I wasn't. It was AWESOME. I'd totally drive all over Boston. But I totally would not even get into a driver's seat in HK so help me Buddha.
I learned how to make right and left turns and I even attempted a 3-point turn. Sooooo much fun heeheehee!!!
In other news, it's just after 2am and I realised about an hour ago that I have a ton of homework due tomorrow for IR, never mind the assigned readings. I'm about 1/4 of the way through, and I just spent 30mins doing a quiz on MSN Japan Beauty and searching for grad schools in Japan. Awesomeness, man. Awesomeness.
And I can't believe that 'awesomeness' didn't show up as a spelling error on my browser's spell-check. Oh, Buddha, what is the world coming to?
Another driving lesson tomorrow. Apparently it's going to rain again, so totally not looking forward to that. But I am looking forward to learning how to drive in reverse and parallel park and stuff.
